We are seeking an Azure System Administrator with SharePoint and Scripting Expertise
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for achieving project excellence? We’re looking for a driven Azure System Administrator to join our operations department. If you are committed to setting the gold standard in cloud infrastructure management and are excited to lead a high-performing team to ensure our initiatives not only meet but surpass expectations, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provision and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, databases, and storage solutions.
- Implement and maintain security measures using Azure Active Directory and other tools.
- Automate routine tasks and deployments using Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates.
- Collaborate with development teams to support DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
Requirements:
- Develop and implement strategic cloud infrastructure initiatives that align with the company’s objectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the Azure environment.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
- Monitor system performance and manage any issues that arise to ensure continuous improvement.
- Analyze total cost of ownership and identify cost-saving opportunities across the cloud infrastructure.
- Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on infrastructure strategies, performance metrics, and market conditions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Azure system administration, preferably in a high-performance computing environment.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Azure management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
